Office Guidelines

Office Hours

An appointment can be scheduled by calling 630 416 7766. The phones are open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday; except for Wednesday which is open until 8:00 pm. Phones are open from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday.

Laboratory Hours

Labs do not have to be scheduled. The laboratory is closed on weekdays from 12 pm to 1 pm.

Illness After Hours

In the event of an illness or health issue after hours, please call our answering service at 630 416 7766. They will contact the on call physician immediately to return your call. If you have HMO insurance, you are required to obtain pre-authorization for emergency department visits from your physician, except in the case of life-threatening emergencies.

Referrals To Specialists

To check on the status of a referral, contact a Referral Coordinator at 630 416 7766 then press 4. reminders As a courtesy we will call to remind patients of upcoming appointments. Patients will receive this notification 24-48 hours prior to their scheduled appointment.

Cancellations

Please allow at least 24 hours notice for any cancellation. Patients can cancel an ppointment
by calling the office at 630 416 7766.

Medication Refills

All medication refills are done during regular office hours only. Please call your pharmacy and have them fax us a request for your refill at 630 416 8899. Please allow 48 hours for a response to your refill request. Please contact your pharmacy to see if your request has been refilled. Narcotic and controlled substance refills are done by a patient’s primary physician and are not done on weekends or after hours. To avoid any lapse in your medication regimen, we recommend that patients discuss the need for medication refills

Test Results

Our office will mail you a card within 3-5 business days of your test with your results. If you have not received your test results within the time allotted, please give our office a call.

Onsite Services

For your convenience, EKG and lab services are available onsite.
