Mr. Baier presented an overview of the new medical facility currently under construction at 430 Pennsylvania Avenue, which will be replacing the old facility located at 454 Pennsylvania Avenue. The old building will eventually be demolished.

According to Mr. Baier, the new facility will consist of three floors, level one showcasing retail space at street level. The space will include an Optical Boutique but no other retail contracts have been decided as of yet. New services offered in the new facility will include expanded laboratory and physical therapy services, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment including a 64-slice CT and MRI, and an upscale women’s health services suite which includes digital mammography. There will be 21,000 more square feet of space in the new building.
