At Belleza Skin Care Institute, we are excited to announce our newly designed web site. This site was developed from a client’s perspective as it brings the latest in aesthetics and skin care information to the forefront in an easy to use format.
At the heart of the new site is a focus on usability. “We wanted our site to be a communication tool in which the user can find the relevant information they desire in the easiest manner,” says Rita DeJohn, Belleza’s Spa Coordinator. To accomplish this goal, Belleza’s site features “tags” which serve as a common thread linking information together. These tags enable for fast and efficient filtering of information. Products, services, skin conditions and aesthetic treatments all all linked together which creates relevant content relationships throughout the site. This enables the user to easily view information they desire in a simple manner. For example, if the user wanted information on acne, they would simply click the acne tag. This would bring the user to a page that displays all the products and services that are appropriate for the treatment of acne, thus allowing the user to filter through all the information and find what’s most important to them.
In addition to the ease-of-use enhancements, the site also features a beautiful new, contemporary design. Stunning photography and vibrant colors which are the cornerstone of the Belleza brand are featured throughout the site. The physical size of the site has been expanded to allow more information per page, which reduces the number of clicks it takes to get the information desired. The content has been streamlined and the overall navigation has been improved. In addition, a highly unique, pop up navigation is used in some sections of the site. This creates interest as well as guides the user with an easy to follow sub-navigation.
Other enhancements include the integration of social networking tools which allow users to send information to popular social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Digg and others. Client’s can request appointments online by simply clicking the “request an appointment” button featured on every page of the site. Special offers, upcoming events, articles, news items and product/service spotlights are also just a click away.
