After the devastating earthquake that occurred last Tuesday in Haiti, DMG’s Dr. Alix Charles was featured in an article by The Doings Hinsdale newspaper on January 13, 2010. Dr. Charles is no stranger to Haiti. His parents grew up in Port-au-Prince and Gonaives and Dr. Charles regularly returns to Haiti on medical mission trips. Through the Concerned Haitian Americans of Illinois (CHAI), Dr. Charles and other physicians established a small clinic in Cap-Haitien where they can provide medical care to hundreds of patients when they visit.
