Congratulations to Dr. Edward Pont, Pediatrician with DuPage Medical Group

The ICAAP (Illinois Chapter American Academy Pediatrics) is pleased to announce that Dr. Ed Pont, ICAAP Past President and Chair of ICAAP’s Government Affairs Committee, is the recipient of the Illinois Maternal and Child Health Coalition (IMCHC) 2010 Loretta Lacey Maternal and Child Health Advocacy Award in the Health Care Provider Category. This category is for an individual who provides direct medical services and uses their knowledge/practice to advocate for improvements in maternal and child health. Dr. Pont was presented with the award at the IMCHC annual meeting on June 15, 2010. ICAAP congratulates Dr. Pont on this prestigious award and thanks him for his years of commitment to advocacy for children and pediatricians.
