Sleep Center of DuPage Medical Group Services

We utilize the latest technology to identify sleep disorders. In addition, we offer comprehensive treatments and specialized programs to care for the sleep conditions of our patients. Our services include:

Sleep Consultation
With expertise in the treatment of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, and circadian rhythm disorders, our physicians create treatment plans focused on your individual needs. Your sleep clinic visit will include a detailed history and physical exam performed by one of our sleep specialists. Educating our patients about their sleep condition is a major component of our care. Aspects of the condition, testing and treatment options are provided as well as answers to your questions.

PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) Program
The Sleep Center of DMG's staff educates patients through all phases of the sleep study process. For patients diagnosed with sleep apnea and prescribed a PAP therapy, our CPAP coordinator will assist in mask acclimation and equipment procurement.

For patients experiencing difficulty adjusting to PAP therapy, we offer a PAP-NAP study. This four hour visit with a registered sleep technologist provides one-on-one time to educate the patient on their sleep disorder and treatment, mask fitting, desensitization and acclimation techniques and a short sleep study. A PAP-NAP is especially helpful to patients who experience anxiety, claustrophobia, inability to tolerate mask pressures and a variety of other concerns.

Insomnia Program
Insomnia is the most common sleep complaint affecting up to one third of adults at least some of the time. Insomnia has many different causes and requires a thorough assessment by a sleep specialist. Our physicians will develop a treatment plan focusing on various approaches depending on your individual needs.

Pediatric Sleep Studies
The Sleep Center of DMG is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine to provide pediatric sleep testing and treatment for children ages 2-18. Our registered sleep technologists have specialized training in pediatric sleep medicine. Our pediatric suites are decorated and equipped with our young patients in mind.  Patients, along with their parent or guardian, will find comfort and privacy in our suites.
