Infectious disease is transmitted from person-to-person, from an animal, or from environmental germs. Infectious disease can range from curable to a lifelong concern or ailment. Some infectious diseases include spider bites, HIV, and Lyme disease. It is important to remember that many infectious diseases are contagious in one way or another, so seeking treatment is vital to not further spreading the disease.
