"The appointment with this new medical professional was a refreshing change in approach. It was the third time seeking help for my issue, and this doctor took the time to truly listen without judgment. I felt understood for the first time. Rather than just treating me as another case, this provider viewed me as an individual human being deserving of compassionate care. We had an open discussion about my unique experiences and what had or hadn't worked well previously with medications. The doctor understood this is a process that requires figuring out the best personalized solution. Together we will continue exploring treatment options to find what works best for my specific situation and goals. I particularly appreciated not feeling like just a number, but a whole person. Overall, meeting with this provider gave me hope that by working as a collaborative team, we can make progress toward improved health and well-being.
