In my practice I instill a “minimalist” approach with each of my patients. I only recommend medications and procedures that make my patients feel better or live longer and utilize a preventive strategy of care that incorporates nutrition and exercise.

    The level of physical examination was brief compared to the other cardiologist we saw at a different practice. For example checking my ankles for swelling which he did not do.
