“The care of chil­dren is the great­est priv­i­lege” is a phrase that I heard on my first day of pedi­atrics in med­ical school and it con­tin­ues to be a guid­ing force for me today. From sleep­less nights to the devel­op­ment of young adults and every­thing in between, I enjoy work­ing with chil­dren and their par­ents. As the moth­er of two chil­dren, the old­est sis­ter of four sib­lings and an aun­tie to 14, I am sur­round­ed by chil­dren day and night. And I wouldn’t have it any oth­er way.
