DuPage Medical Group looks for ways to use technology to better serve you and your family, pairing accessibility with quality care. With this in mind we are now offering Video Visits for children of all ages and e-Visits for children ages 5 through 17. These new telehealth services allow you and your child to communicate with a DMG physician from the convenience of your own home for many common, non-urgent primary care conditions.
If you are active on MyChart, login to your account and choose your child's tab. Then choose the “Begin an E-Visit” or “Schedule a Video Visit” button. Not active on MyChart? Ask your provider how to activate a MyChart account for you and your child today.
Please note that you and your child must be in the state of Illinois at the time of the Video Visit.
Under State and Federal law there are certain types of medical information that the parent or guardian of a minor patient age 12-17 may not be able to view or schedule (e-Visits or Video Visits) without the consent of the minor patient. Because of these requirements, a parent or legal guardian may access e-Visits and Video Visits of a patient 12-17 years old only with the patient’s consent. Both the child aged 12-17 and the parent/legal guardian must sign the Minor Proxy Form in the office.
Schedule an appointment and visit face-to-face with a pediatrician before or after school using your web-cam enabled computer or mobile device.
