Brittany Nelson, PsyD
Behavioral & Mental Health (IPD), Counseling
I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment to foster therapeutic change. I primarily use interpersonal psychodynamic and strengths-based approaches adapted to the client needs. My therapeutic goal is to empower each client within the therapy room by increasing insight, self-advocacy and implementing change that can be easily translated into daily life.
Behavioral & Mental Health insurance coverage varies by provider.
Prior to scheduling with a Behavioral & Mental Health (IPD) provider, please confirm with your insurance carrier that this provider is considered in-network and covered by your insurance plan.
My areas of clinical interest include adolescent & young adult development, human sexuality, women’s health & development, relational trauma, self-esteem development and psychological testing.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my dog, traveling, hiking, going to concerns & sporting events, cooking, and quality time with my family and friends! When I am not practicing as a clinician, I teach as an adjunct professor at a local university.
