Corrin Scavo, PsyD

Behavioral & Mental Health (IPD), Counseling

Practices In: Joliet, Morris
Patients Seen: All Ages

I have worked in a variety of clinical settings from hospitals, outpatient centers, residential programs and shelters dealing with a variety of different age groups and psychological disorders. I work with individual, family and group therapy for adults and adolescents and children. Dr. Scavo works with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds and lifestyles including LGBTQ. I believe in self-empowerment and developing the self so that each individual can create the life that they have always wanted. My therapeutic style is integrative and eclectic meeting the needs of each client by utilizing the best approach for each individual. I believes strongly in the development of the therapeutic relationship as the facilitator for change. Through this relationship the individual can explore their issues in a safe environment. I have enjoyed working in the mental health field for over 20 years with individuals of all ages, couples and families. I believe it is my job to empower an individual with the tools they need to better help themselves.
