MacKenzie Fye, PsyD, RYT
Behavioral & Mental Health (IPD), Health Psychology
I worked in outpatient and medical settings, spending the two years prior to joining IPD working with Veterans at a VA hospital where I specialized in Geropsychology and worked with those living with comorbid and chronic medical conditions. I have extensive experience working with adults and older adults who present with a wide variety of psychological and medical disorders. Many of my clients have reported feeling stuck, lacking direction and purpose, or having difficulty understanding their thoughts, emotions and behaviors. I help clients “drop the rope” of resistance and lean into discomfort in order to build insight and increase their present moment awareness.
Behavioral & Mental Health insurance coverage varies by provider.
Prior to scheduling with a Behavioral & Mental Health (IPD) provider, please confirm with your insurance carrier that this provider is considered in-network and covered by your insurance plan.
I provide individual and group psychotherapy services and specialize in treating anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, and insomnia. I have significant experience helping individuals adjust to lifestyle changes and learn to live more effectively with medical conditions, such as chronic pain, diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, and hypertension. I operate from an acceptance and commitment framework and integrates CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused, and evidence-based modalities. With every client, I strive to help them become their own agents of change, by building off their strengths, increasing coping skills and helping them to live a values-driven life.
