Radio Frequency Ablation for Barrett's Esophagus


Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) for Barrett's Esophagus is a procedure that uses a special catheter in the esophagus to deliver RF energy in order to create a superficial burn in the esophagus that destroys Barrett’s Esophagus tissue.

The RFA procedure decreases the risk of developing esophageal cancer by eliminating the Barrett's tissue.
