Choosing the DMG Integrated Oncology Program

At DuPage Medical Group, we understand that a cancer diagnosis can be frightening and cause feelings of uncertainty. The Integrated Oncology Program is designed to guide patients every step of the way; from diagnosis to treatment through remission and survivorship. Our team of highly-skilled physicians and support staff collaborate with one another to provide patients with the latest treatment techniques and technology available. The Integrated oncology team is committed to providing comprehensive, university-level cancer care to the suburbs. This allows our patients to complete their treatment where they feel the safety and most supported, close to home.

The Integrated Oncology Program is led by a team of multidisciplinary physicians, skilled in medical and radiation oncology, who partner specialists to treat a broad range of oncology services specifically tailored to meet each individual patient’s needs. Our specialties include dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, gynecology, otolaryngology, pathology, plastic surgery, radiology, pulmonology, surgery and urology. Our physicians work closely with dedicated nurse navigators, genetic counselors and social workers to provide a seamless patient experience.

DMG provides patients with access to additional support and resources through, partnerships with organizations such as Rush University Medical Center and the American Cancer Society. These partnerships provide access to the latest clinical trials and emerging treatments, to allow us to adapt to the ever-changing needs of our patients.

Our cancer-related services can be found throughout the Chicagoland area at multiple locations in the southwest, west and northwest suburbs, with the Integrated Oncology Program’s hub located at our Lisle Medical Office Building. In addition to advanced technologies, many of our offices offer on-site lab and radiology services, making patient care convenient and accessible.

Accreditation

In 2015, DuPage Medical Group’s Integrated Oncology Program was awarded a nationally-recognized accredidation based on our continued commitment to quality, access and exceptional patient outcomes. In 2017, we are proud to still be the only accredited Freestanding Cancer Center in Illinois, a distinction awarded by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.

This accomplishment affirms that high-quality cancer care is being provided at DMG, while providing the framework to continue to improve quality of patient care through various cancer-related programs focused on the full continuum of cancer care.
