Philosophy of Care

Dr. Paul brings a well known reputation for excellent outcomes and cutting edge experience to DuPage Medical Group. As Chair of the DMG Spine Surgery Department, he is working to use his expertise in minimally invasive surgery to improve the patient experience. Dr. Paul has a rapidly growing reputation in the area in complex cervical and lumbar spine reconstruction with an emphasis on long term outcomes. He frequently teaches techniques to neurosurgeons and spinal surgeons from around the country as well as Asia, Africa and Europe. His far reaching reputation has brought surgical patients from distances as far away as Hong Kong. Dr. Paul is a favorite among the area’s physicians and their families. Dr. Paul was the first specialist ever to win the Physician of the Year Award from DuPage Medical Group in 2016. He is also the only physician to have won the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy Alumni Leadership award in 2011.
