Bone Scan

Bone scans are a spe­cial type of nuclear med­i­cine pro­ce­dure that uses small amounts of radioac­tive mate­r­i­al to diag­nose and assess the sever­i­ty of a vari­ety of bone dis­eases and con­di­tions, includ­ing frac­tures, infec­tion and cancer.
